What We Inspect

Does Your Future Home Have A Future ?

This is the question of utmost importance to Home Buyers
... the question a Home Inspector is ultimately hired to answer.

Are you concerned about:
Structural problems, wood-eating insects, mold proliferation,
deteriorated plumbing, and unsafe wiring ?

Are you willing to trust someone with a narrow background
or little experience, to ID these problems ?
Example: An Engineer may assure you the structure is sound, but left undetected, unsafe wiring can burn a house down.

Another alarming industry practice is to limit liability using disclaimers and referring clients to a 3rd party for a 2nd opinion. (eg: roofer, engineer, electrician)

The buyer is usually unaware of this practice until the inspection is completed and may not be financially prepared to pay the fees these additional experts require. Thus, a process the home buyer thought would cost them a reasonable amount becomes an exorbitant expense.

At Sherlock's, "the buck stops here " ... we are more concerned about your welfare than ours,

We have various experts on retainer ... who can be reached via SMS to answer questions immediately ... We can even share forensic photos with these experts via camera phones !!!

We also walk on most roofs, enter creepy crawlspaces, open high voltage electric panels, and inspect / test whatever is necessary to assure your Future Home does indeed have a Future!

but what they overlook" - Rick Barrett
